Position: Search Implementation Consultant/Professional Services
Location: Multiple Cities (US)
The ideal candidate for this technical role will be familiar with enterprise search, specifically Solr and Lucidworks Fusion. The ideal candidate will have experience planning, designing, and implementing search from some of the best product vendors with products based on open source technologies available today. You will typically work on site with client companies either on your own or as part of a team of implementers.
This role will include approximately 30% travel in the continental United States as well as to occasional travel to Europe.

Position: Pre-Sales System Engineer (multiple openings)
Location: Multiple Cities (US)
The role of 'Pre-sales System Engineer' or "SE', can vary widely between different vendors. These roles will work as part of the Sales Team, but will need technical understanding of the enterprise search/ML/AI product and its capabilities. The SE also needs strong communication skills to listen and understand the potential client's requirements; explain how the technology meets the requirements; and demonstrate the product in such a way as to show how the technology is an excellent solution. The SE also has to identify when a particular opportunity is not a good fit in order to avoid failed implementations. The person in this role is a key part of the sales team, and will assist in qualifying opportunities, identifying any technical shortcomings or issues that may exist, and find creative yet functional ways for the product to meet the prospect's needs.
These roles will require between 20% and 40% travel in the continental United States, and potentially abroad.
Skills Required: Technical product understanding; experience working with enterprise or open source search technologies; and excellent communication skills. Previous experience in the role is a plus.

The ideal candidate for this technical role will be familiar with machine learning and 'big data' software including Hadoop, Mahout, and Spark; and experience with NLP particularly as applied to search.
