The Technology of Search
There's been a great deal of talk about the technology of Enterprise Search, but we can promise you there are no "magic beans", nothing can completely make up for poor methodology– a lack of process, failure to monitor search activity, missing data, horrible UI design, or completely untrained staff. Enterprise Search vendors have certainly made great strides, and there are lots of decent engines on the market, but there are still issues.
