The industry has experienced some significant changes since
last issue, not the least of which is the Oracle acquisition of
Stellent in early November. Dr. Search and the crew remain
very busy, and we'd love to find an experienced search consultant
to join our team in the upcoming new year.
Search remains a hot topic, and many analysts expect enterprise
search specifically to continue to outperform other software
sectors for several years. Companies have realized that
great search is critical to maximizing employee productivity,
and some are beginning to explore new organizational
structures to maximize the return on search investment.
As always, feel free to contact us if you have any questions
regarding enterprise search.
